Q: I have never junked a car before, how do I do this?
A: The process is actually very simple. You can contact us by submitting a quote form including the year, make, model ,location ,and a brief description of the car's condition (IE major collision, running, flat tires and Etc). Within 24 hrs, we will contact you with a custom quote for your vehicle and a lead time for pick-up.
Q: What happens to the car after you pick it up?
A: The older model cars are used for scrap metal. They are drained of all environmentally hazardous fluids, crushed, and recycled for future use.
Q: I can't find my Title/Bill Of Sale. What do I do now?
A: At MyCarIsJunk.com, we understand that over time, items no matter how important can be misplaced. Our knowledgeable representatives take all factors into account when you are given your custom quote.
Q: What about my license plates?
A: All license plates should be removed from the vehicle before the scheduled pick-up and returned to your state's Motor Vehicle Commission. If you need assistance with removing your plates, the driver assigned to your location will be happy to do so.
Q: I have multiple cars that need to be removed. Is that a problem?
A: No. When you submit your custom quote form, be sure to include the number of vehicles and all required information about them in order for you to get the most accurate price possible. All issues and/or questions will be addressed when you are contacted by one of our representatives.
Q: How do you determine the custom quote prices?
A: Quotes are determined by the current market value of steel and aluminum. Remember, that older model cars are being taken for scrap metals and not for parts. Some later model vehicles may be used for parts by our affiliates.
Q: Do you remove vehicles other than cars?
A: This depends on size, location, and mobility of the vehicle.
Q: What cites do you serve?
